FAQ
Questions people usually ask
What does a business analyst and systems architect actually do?
The business analyst part is figuring out how work really moves: talking to your team, following the handoffs, and finding where time, information, and decisions get lost. The systems architect part is designing and building the fix, whether that's a rebuilt Asana, a Notion SOP library, an Airtable base, or the integrations that keep your tools in sync.
Do you just make recommendations, or do the work?
I do the work. I'll map the problem and recommend a plan, but I also build the workflows, set up the tools, write the documentation, and train your team.
What tools do you work with?
I'm certified in Notion and Asana, and I've worked hands-on with Airtable, NetSuite, Shopify, Jira, Zapier, and AI tools like Claude and ChatGPT. I'll use what you already pay for before recommending anything new.
Can you help us use AI?
Yes. I build custom Claude and GPT tools trained on your SOPs, data, and voice. But first, we make sure the system underneath actually works.
Do you work as a fractional COO?
Yes, when that's what the business needs. It's senior operational leadership without a full-time executive hire: I step in as a strategic thought partner and hands-on leader, helping align priorities, connect teams, and move important work forward.
What happens on the free call?
We talk through what's slowing you down, and you'll leave with a clearer next step. Then we figure out together whether an Ongoing Partnership, a project, or training makes sense.
Do you work remotely?
Yes. I'm based in Bozeman, Montana, and work with teams everywhere.
